Getting started

Understand types and IDs, choose a suitable page, set your site identity, and save your first graph.

Build your graph

Fields & sources

Bind titles, URLs, dates and images to the right WordPress or supported SEO sources.

Article graphs

Connect a real article to its WebPage, author and publisher while keeping existing IDs.

Templates & inheritance

Reuse graph structure, set matching rules and exclusions, and inspect complete target pages.

Reusable entities

Connect people and organizations across pages and explicitly bind each required entity.

Validate and maintain

SEO compatibility

Choose exclusive or coexistence output with Yoast, Rank Math or AIOSEO and inspect overlaps.

Validation & publishing

Separate syntax, semantics and Google feature checks, then verify saved and signed-out output.

Schema Health

Scan coverage, read emitted counts alongside errors, and retain the reports you need.

Backup & recovery

Export before broad changes, inspect restore dry runs, and verify recovery on a disposable copy.

Troubleshooting

Investigate stale output, repeated titles, unresolved variables, missing entities and scan findings.

Reference

Before you expand to more pages

  • Keep existing IDs stable. Reuse identities for the same real subject and inspect inherited nodes before adding duplicates.
  • Use verified facts. Match visible content; do not invent authors, images, addresses or reviews to clear a warning.
  • Check the complete output. A partial template preview and a passing syntax result do not establish public coverage or Google eligibility.

Release scope and limitations

The source guide reports tests with Yoast 28.5 Free, Rank Math 1.0.280 Free and AIOSEO 5.0.3 Free, one active SEO plugin at a time. These versions describe historical test evidence. Recheck affected integrations after updating; they are not a current compatibility certification.

WooCommerce schema, automatic transitive entity inclusion and other listed exclusions remain outside the documented 0.9.5 scope. LiteSpeed public cache-hit eviction remains unverified. Inspect anonymous output after changes and use normal cache controls where needed.

Quick answers

Do I need to write JSON?

Normal editing uses Graph and Fields & Sources. See fields and sources for bindings and advanced editing boundaries.

Does closing the studio save my changes?

Use WordPress Save or Update after closing the studio, then reload to confirm persistence. See validation and publishing.

Does zero errors mean the page has schema?

No. Read emitted counts and the Not emitted status separately from errors. See Schema Health.

Does valid schema guarantee rich results?

No. Validation, feature eligibility and search appearance are separate. Review Google’s structured-data guidelines.
