Schema Studio backup and recovery

Back up before broad changes

A full WordPress backup protects the website. A Studio export protects plugin-owned settings, page documents, templates and entities. Keep both outside WordPress.

1. Export before editing templates, identity or integration settings.
2. Inspect the mandatory restore dry run and the records it will match before applying.
3. Rehearse destructive recovery on a disposable copy. Compare settings, documents, bindings, IDs and output.
4. When using an available rollback recovery point, verify the result independently.

Page imports and snapshots load a draft for inspection and normal saving. Up to eight distinct page snapshots are retained. Cross-domain restore and interrupted-write recovery are outside the verified scope. Downgrading files does not undo content edits.
