Read each finding by its layer. A green syntax result does not establish semantic quality, coverage or Google eligibility.
| Layer | Question | Action |
|---|---|---|
| JSON / graph integrity | Can it be parsed? Do identities and references make sense? | Fix malformed JSON, conflicting definitions and broken relationships. |
| Schema.org semantics | Does the property belong on this type with an appropriate value? | Review the type, property and expected range. |
| Google required checks | Are required feature conditions met? | Consult current feature documentation; plugin checks cover selected cases. |
| Google recommendations | Would real additional information improve completeness? | Add relevant facts where available; never fabricate them. |
A missing article image can be a recommendation while parsing errors remain zero. “Zero errors” does not prove an image exists. A type without a supported Google enhancement may not appear in Google’s test.
- Validate the complete resolved page, not just a partial template.
- Save, reload, and open the published page while signed out.
- Use Schema.org Validator to inspect vocabulary and markup, and Google Rich Results Test for supported search features.
- Check HTML title, description, canonical and robots directives after integration changes.
- Use Search Console URL Inspection when you need to inspect Google’s fetched page. Search updates take time.
